IV Therapy
Intravenous therapy is therapy that delivers liquid substances directly into a vein (intra- + ven- + -ous). The intravenous (IV) route of administration can be used for injections (with a syringe at higher pressures) or infusions (typically using only the pressure supplied by gravity). Intravenous infusions are commonly referred to as drips. The intravenous route is the fastest way to deliver medications and fluid replacement throughout the body, because the circulation carries them. Intravenous therapy may be used for fluid replacement (such as correcting dehydration), to correct electrolyte imbalances, to deliver medications, vitamins & minerals, and for blood transfusions..
Benefits.
Main benefit of intravenous treatment is that nutrients are infused directly into the bloodstream. Intravenous treatments therefore are exceptionally powerful because they circumvent issues with oral administration, including stomach upset, absorption issues, and loss of potency. In addition, since the nutrients are infused directly into the bloodstream and avoid the gastro intestinal system, very large doses can be administered without gastro intestinal side effects which can limit dosing. A perfect example of this is vitamin C, which can only be taken in fairly small amounts orally before causing stomach upset. Intravenous Ozone Therapy
Intravenous Ozone Therapy treatment consists of the use of medical grade oxygen and ozone gases safely injected into the vein. Ozone is a chemical compound consisting of three oxygen atoms O3, a highly energetic form of normal atmospheric oxygen (O2). Ozone gas is a trivalent oxygen molecule lacking an electron. The extra “O” in the ozone molecule acts like a glue to "steal" an electron from anything in the body that cannot defend itself, including viruses, bacteria, fungus, yeast and molds.
